I am a MA-licensed massage therapist, Stott Pilates certified instructor, licensed Gyrotonic trainer, certified pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist, and certified yoga teacher. I have a special interest in postural/functional improvement, rehabilitation and pain management.
Problem-solving is my forte, and biomechanics happens to be my passion. My clientele includes back pain sufferers, athletes seeking a competitive edge, new exercisers, and individuals who simply want to understand themselves physically. I work with orthopedic and neurological conditions, teenagers and octogenarians, and more male clients than most. What everyone has in common is the desire to feel better and function better.
Exercise should be mentally engaging and feel good physically, for individuals of all fitness levels. I want my clients to look forward to their workouts, experience an appropriate level of challenge, and leave feeling lighter, stronger, and more relaxed.
Time after time, I have seen how optimizing movement patterns frees up the body's resources so that clients can devote more energy to activities that make their lives meaningful.
My practice happily accepts people of all ethnic/racial groups, body shapes and sizes, sexual orientation and identity, religious affiliation, and educational levels.
